HOW TO WEAR A LONG DRESS?

We love fashion, having style, and above all, we dread making a fashion faux pas. So, when we pull out our favorite long dress from the closet, we want to look chic and, most importantly, avoid any fashion mistakes. There's no secret; with our long dresses, either we opt for a short jacket that stops at the hip line or we choose a coat longer than the dress... it depends on the circumstances and the season. How to wear a long dress in winter?

As soon as the fall-winter collections come out, we all rush to fashion magazines, into stores to get inspired and find the perfect trendy piece that will enhance our silhouette, the sweater or puffer jacket that will keep us warm, or the jacket that will upgrade our outfits.

For a cool casual outfit, with a warm knitted sweater dress calf-length, we allow ourselves leather biker boots and Thermolactyl tights. For going out, we avoid the puffer jacket because even the maxi model never reaches the length of the dress. If the dress is longer, we immediately lose the style capital of our look. We choose a long wool coat, and in autumn, we opt for a long trench coat that pairs well with all our pants. If we are slim, we can go for a big oversized coat, but always at the right length.

For a chic outfit, for a party, an opening or New Year's Eve, we want to be elegant and we prefer tight-fitting sheath dresses or straight dresses, for maximum elegance. Black is indeed the safe bet for the seasonal dress code. Whether short or tall, we should wear heels and carefully choose our accessories and handbag. When we think of summer dresses, we immediately imagine fluid dresses, short dresses, whereas the trends are increasingly towards long dresses. Perfect for the bohemian look, the airy paisley-print long dress is causing a sensation even on the beaches. An icon of boho style, the linen long dress struts on the promenade in front of the sunset. What do we pair them with in spring or summer when it cools down? We focus on the short for playing with contrasts: a denim jacket, a leather biker jacket, a straight linen jacket, a printed bomber jacket all work perfectly. Otherwise, small knit pieces like thin vests or cardigans are good warmth complements for summer evenings. In summer, we also like to wear a long black or white skirt to highlight the tan.
